Schbang's August: Another Month, Another Lot To Celebrate

‍

‍

August brought with it a strong mix of work, wins and moments that made the month what it was. From campaigns that found their audience to ideas brought to life across teams, it was a month of moving things forward and making good work happen. Here’s a look at everything that kept Schbang busy through August.

‍

‍

Pudin Hara Got Anu Malik To Bring The Heat

‍

‍

Pudin Hara wanted to show its cooling effect in a fun, unexpected way. So we got Anu Malik to do what Anu Malik does best, turn it into a song. Aag Laga Di builds on that contrast, using catchy music, humour, dramatic visuals and Anu Malik’s unmistakable energy to turn a simple product benefit into a memorable story. What could have been a straightforward cooling message became a fun film that people could enjoy and remember.

Jim is known for his precision, curiosity and constant experimentation. So we imagined a world where his search for the perfect finish finally led him to Specta. The film builds on that thought, using his personality and natural curiosity to introduce Specta’s surfaces in a way that feels unexpected and engaging. It brings together his experimental side and Specta’s attention to detail, making the product feel like part of the discovery.

We Took Home 10 Wins At The Sammies

‍

‍

A perfect night at the Sammies saw Schbang take home 10 well-deserved wins. From campaigns being recognised across categories to the team bringing home the trophies, the night was a celebration of the ideas, people and craft that went into the work. More than just a winning streak, it was a moment to celebrate the teams behind the work and the impact they created.

‍

Putting a Personality to Every Shopper

‍

‍

From the ones who negotiate every deal to the ones who simply can’t risk missing out, we brought different shopper personalities to life for Amazon’s Great Freedom Sale. By turning these familiar shopping behaviours into entertaining characters, the film captures the excitement, urgency and quirks that come with sale shopping , making the campaign feel instantly relatable to every kind of shopper.

Maybelline’s Gel-Evator

‍

‍

We turned the everyday elevator mirror check into a “Gel-Evator” for Maybelline. Inspired by the habit of applying lip gloss before a big moment, we imagined the elevator as a portal where one swipe leads to another, until the obsession takes over. The ad brings the idea to life by turning a familiar beauty ritual into a playful gel spell, making the product experience feel magical, addictive and unexpected.

A Day Well Spent at NMACC

‍

‍

For this edition of Schbang Unwind, we stepped out of our usual workspaces and into a world of colour, light and immersive art at NMACC. The team spent the day exploring larger-than-life installations, playing around with the exhibits and soaking in the experience together. A much-needed break from the everyday, and a reminder that sometimes the best way to recharge is to simply switch off and experience something new.

Meta Took Us Behind The Scenes

‍

‍

We got a closer look at Meta’s platforms, tools and latest trends, and more importantly, discussed how we can turn those learnings into better work. From building more platform-first strategies and using the right formats, to exploring creator-led ideas and making content more native to each platform, these insights will directly shape how we approach upcoming pitches and brand solutions. The idea is simple: take what we learnt at Meta and put it into action, making our strategies sharper, our pitches smarter and our creative ideas more relevant to how audiences actually behave today.

‍

Specta Turned Vikas Khanna’s Journey Into Stone

‍

‍

For Specta’s latest chapter of Stories Cast in Stone, we brought together two stories built on the same idea: that great things take time, craft, and consistency. Featuring Chef Vikas Khanna, the film traces his journey from discovering food at an early age to taking Indian cuisine to the world, drawing a natural parallel with Specta’s own pursuit of excellence through innovation.

‍

International Aditya Birla Performing Arts Academy Made Culture Come Alive

‍

‍

For  International aditya birla performing arts academy , we wanted to show how tradition can feel completely at home in today’s world. The film brings together Indian dance, music, fashion and modern movement, creating a visual that moves between the old and the new.  Onam Inspections Got A Family Twist

‍

‍

Onam comes with its own set of family rituals, and we turned one of them, the classic “inspection” into a comic family moment. The humour came from making the situation feel familiar and relatable, with the right casting bringing the characters and their reactions to life. Schbang Motion Pictures brought the idea together as a light, festive film that captured the chaos and charm of an Onam family gathering.

‍

Ample Turned 30 Years Into 30 Rings Of Growth

‍

‍

From a small dream to 30 years of growth, we crafted a milestone film for Ample to celebrate everything that shaped the journey. The idea of 30 rings became a simple visual metaphor for each year of trust, partnership and collective effort, showing how every milestone adds to the bigger story. The film brings together the people and moments behind Ample’s journey, making 30 years feel personal, not just like a number.

The Right Creator For The Right Moment

‍

From making an ice cream recipe worth saving to turning BFFs into CFFs, we used influencers differently for Britannia industries two occasions. For Ice Cream Day, we partnered with Neha Deepak Shah for her aesthetic content, clean presentation, and engaging way of interacting with her audience, while macro creators helped amplify the recipe and reach a wider audience. For Friendship Day, we turned “Best Friend Forever” into “Chosen Friend Forever” , using macro and micro creators to build awareness, meme pages to make the idea relatable and shareable, and nano influencers to bring the campaign to life by actually using the story template and creating their own CFF stories.

It lives in the everyday moments made possible by people who quietly do their part , from security guards keeping us safe to police officers helping us get through our day.
